Village Court is held at 7:00pm, generally on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month (see list of dates below for exceptions).
If you wish to file a claim, contact the Village Court for the proper documentation; claims are handled on an individual basis. An informational pamphlet on small claims is provided for your convenience.

James Ryan is the Justice for the Village of Cazenovia, he assumed the position in January of 2006.
For eight years, he has served on the board of directors for the Community Action Partnership of Madison County.
Formerly, Ryan had been a member of the Madison County Probation department; he retired in August of 2005 after 29 years of service. A graduate of Cazenovia High School and LeMoyne College, he also volunteers at the fire department as secretary for the Owaghena Hose Company.
